Hello there,
i have just given someone who doesnt know anything about reiki a treatment - they have asked what the feeling is that they feel in there legs, and what does it mean.
and to be honest i dont know how to answer her - can anyone help? what do these feelings mean?

The exact same thing happened to me when I just started out doing Reiki.
It was also a man, and he was very nervous about the treatment (his wife convinced him to come see me for Reiki), he had very strong sensations in his legs and he was quite spooked about it, because I was nowhere near his legs.
Legs represent our ability to progress and evolve and to lift ourselves higher and move forward. His reaction can have a very simple explanation like he was just feeling insecure in his present space and time...

i will try to expand - she really didnt know what she was feeling, jsut felt sensations in her legs and solar plexus. i know its about unblocking blockages as such, but she wanted to know why? and what the sensations mean - blimey im rubbish at explaining arnt i? is this making any sense?
Hi Sarah,
Your Client was just feeling where she needed energy the most. Nothing to worry about.
She was a bit aprehensive before treatment and that is why she felt the energy entering her Solar Plexus because that's where we feel fear and aprehension.
The sensation in her legs might well be as explained by Hamadryat, above. It might also have been where she had (or has) a slight weakness due to a previous condition or operation.
The reasons could be many and varied depending on her.
The easiest way to explain it is as I have said above - it's just an indication of where the energy was entering her body the most.
Do not worry and, more importantly, don't worry you client.
Why? Becasue the Reiki energy was flowing!
