Blended oils
Question:

Can anyone recommend a supplier for good quality blended oils, which aren't too pricey please? They would be used for Holistic Massage.
Thanks

Answers:

Sorry to be a kill-joy but unless you are a qualified aromatherapist you shouldn't be using them. You need to study for 9-12 months to learn all about the oils and their contra-indications, so best leave it to the aromatherapists and just stick to your massage. Aromatherapy is a subject in itself and without studying it it is unfair to practice it on clients who expect you to know what you are doing.

I think to be fair, Neroli was asking about oils to use for holistic massage, not aromatherapy. There are many clinics (mainly beauty) that use pre blended products, such as Elemis. Wouldn't be able to recommend any in particular though.

I would recommend Tui Body/Massage waxes - lots of threads praising them on this site!! They are paricularly good with the more hairy men, and the wax is totally organic.(wwww.tuitrading.co.uk)
They come in different blends, ie Sports and Healing, Relaxation, Orange Spice, Rose, Lavender, Mountain Forest etc etc, so something for all tastes.
I also am not an aromatherapist, but was told that as long as the oils are not blended by me, I can use pre-blends, which I do.
