Question:
I have an assignment which im finding quite hard. there are two question
explain the effects of the treatment on the skin? and explain the effect of the treatment on the muscles of the shoulders, head, neck and scalp? i know general benefits and things but are finding it hard to find out wot it is they r looking 4 in these questions can anyone help me??
you are right they quite vague questions - do you a number of marks for each - that would give an idea of detail required.
For skin the effects are all the general massage ones - mainly desquamation ( removal of dead cells) , erythema ( reddening showing increased blood flow ) with this comes the beenfits of more nutrients and oxygen to the skin cells and the carrying away of more tooxins ?waste from cell respiration via the venous and lymphatic system.
For muscles increased blood flow is the main one and carrying away toxins means that "knots" are reduced which means increased blood flow (circular improvment) and therefore better muscle function after the massage.
hope this helps
