Hi all
My friend & I are interested in doing Hopi Ear Candling & are having trouble finding training in the north east.
We live in Newcastle upon Tyne & are prepared to travel but not half way down the country for a 1 day course.
Ellisons do the training for £70 but its in Coventry too far for us to travel. Does anyone know of any training which is recognised for insurance purposes nearer to us.

Have you tried Linda Stokes? She and Sue Maunsell hold one day courses in different parts of the country and it may well be worth contacting them to see when their next course near you is. Their website is www.thermo-auricular.com
Incidentally their course is, like most if not all others, post graduate, i.e. you need to have an anatomy and physiology qualification.

I've had a look at their website as most people on here seem to recommend them but unfortunately they don't have a course near us.
We both have A&P as we studied it together last year & passed which was a relief lol.

Its a one day course, well 3-4 hrs so you could do it in a day.
Its in Rotherham, near Sheffield.
Its £99 if I remember right and its called 'Inspired Beauty Training'.
Contact Julie Bowes, she is the owner and a great person. The premises is a shop and training facility.

As you know I'm just down the road from you!! I did my course with Linda Stokes at York - it was a 2 hour drive or it is about 1 hour on the train from Newcastle Central. I can certainly recommend it.
Lola Rose - if you have a look at the thermo-auricular website -you will find a local contact for Scotland who might be able to give you some more information.
