lots of energy
Question:

I discovered beer yeast to boost my energy level. Tastes horrible but does a lot of good. Any one experience with it?

Hi Marijke darl;) I personally wouldn't take brewers yeast because I'm allergic to Penicillin and anything concentrated which forms any fermentation process affects me [:'(] altho' not in minute doses such as in bread etc.:) yet draught beer & home brewed alcoholic beverages are a no! no! for me. I was under the impression that yeast isn't really good for one - but if it works for YOU, that's great!:D:D:D

hi! i just bought some brewers yeast yesterday. it is supposed to be full of good stuff, b vitamins, glutamine, etc. i have read that actually only sugar can cause yeast problems in the body. sally fallon's nourishing traditions book has loads of positive things to say about brewers yeast. i hope it gives me energy too, i seem to drag a little in the winter months.

I don't know about anyone else here, but the biggest boost to my energy came from simply giving up meat.

Hi Marijke ;)
I thought of you today when a lady spoke on the radio about taking yeast supplements :D She mentioned that there are 450 different types of yeast found in the body, of which 300 are good and only 150 that aren't. She was promoting the herbal BIO-STRATH brand which is available worldwide. She also mentioned that taking this definitely helps to clear Candida (yeast infection) which really surprised me :D and, as you have found, gives one more energy! :D
Starfish is right on the button with SUGAR, as Candida (like cancer) thrives on sugar! [:'(] [:@]
