Question:
I am looking to do my first Reiki course very soon but I wanted to know how to pick who to train with....
What should I be looking for?
Thanks
Angel Eyes
someone who you feel comfortable and relaxed with... go with your instincts
if you know anyone who has done there Reiki 1 then ask them who they went to. (Or just ask around and find out who is cheap!!)
It all depends on what you are looking for
Hi Angel Eyes,
Cheapness is not always the only criterion.
There are tips on what to look for when seeking a Reiki Master on several sites.
www.reikiassociation.org.uk
and
www.reiki-evolution.co.uk
to name but two.
I wish you every success in your endeavour.

Contact a few teachers and ask them how they teach (do you prefer a group, one to one?), support after the course, some teach levels I&II togehter, others keep them separate...
But mainly, do not go with anyone where you don't feel confortable with. If it does not sound quite right on the phone or by e-mail, then it probably won't get better when meeting!

Hi Angeleyes
I see you are from Essex.I know two great reiki teachers in Essex,One is a memeber here and some years ago treat myself and introduced me to reiki . The other is my own teacher. Both are female , both are great teachers and offer follow up with regular share groups twice a month with great caring supportive members . If you want to PM me i can give you their contact details .
