Hi all!
My hubbie is trying to re-train as a counsellor and is having real problems finding a course that will give him BACP affiliation without spending huge sums of money.
We live in Buckinghamshire and so far the local college courses have turned out to not confirm they train you to a sufficient level to get registration at the end, there is a course in London, but it costs nearly £20 grand which we just do not have.
It's all v frustrating, so all info, web links and comments gratefully received!!

Have you tried to contact the BACP with your query to see if they can recommend a suitable course in your area?
