Question:
anyone used anything successfully with a child (9yrs) with dsypraxia.
Apart from the usual problems with dsypraxia I would have to say this child is very gifted and does suffer with anxiety.

Hi Tigerbee,
dyspraxia is a condition where many of the motor both fine & gross are out of synch & unco-ordinated. These children are sometime below average but mostly above average in inteligence. They need a LOT of love care patience & understanding . life can be very hard & challanging, & lonely for these children.
there are suppliments that help this namely fish oils Omega three & ?six, Reiki is good but can sometimes set them off into hyperactivity. but one of the most useful things is DIET! Cut out as many carbs as you can. reduce the sugar as much as poss.
Madaline Portwood is a good read
Tracey if this child is in the hampshire Surrey Area try to get to see, Oh ill pm yoiu with that just in cvase it isn't allowed.

Yes, I have had some success with Cranial Osteopathy, but agree with Maria that there are serious food issues, as well and feel that both these issues need addressing to achieve maximum potential. ;)
The Sutherland Society is the largest UK cranial osteopathy organisation -
http://www.cranial.org.uk/
One day I'll get around to registering with them - :D
On the Allergy & Food issue there's research on the main US NAET site, but no direct link to page. If you go here - http://www.naet.com/subscribers/ - click on Research button, you'll see some stats for ADHD. Then if you click on the BLue arrow for more Research you'll find stats for Anxiety and Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
I've not had the fortune to treat any children with dyspraxia with NAET yet, so cannot speak from personal experience on that one, but have helped kids with various other allergy related problems.
Andrew.
cheers dears.
