Question:
I was at a conference yesterday where we were told that there is now scientific proof that even if we are being positive in our attitude when we come into contact with any negative attitudes our dna shrinks , the helix is seen to collapse in itsself but when we are relaxed happy and the people around us are giving out good vibes the helix is upright.
So i am specifically sending reiki to my dna regularly now to compensate for all the energy vampires i come into contact with and just thought i 'd share this with you .
unfortunately the speaker didnt give the source of this research and I didn't get a chance to ask him. does anyone know where there might be more on this
I think most (energy vampires) aren't aware that they are taking others energy, their negative energies may also come from illness.
I know what you mean when you say about coming into contact with people who zap your energy. One particular person i would see ocassionally used to leave me feeling so tired, but as soon as i left and went home, i was wide awake again...she always seemed to drain me.
You could always seal your aura with a protective bubble of Reiki energy, also quartz is believed to protect the aura.
