Question:
Hi there
I put a thread up sometime ago asking if anyone did IHM for corporate clients and had a good response. However, I've have now typed an letter and wondered if I should mention prices in the letter, or wait until I see someone to discuss it further?
I have offered to go and see whoever (personnel) and demonstrate an IHM session on them or their colleague. Hopefully this way they will enjoy the session and feel the benefits and be keen to take up my offer.
I have said I can offer 15 mins or 30. With the shorter session would you decide on what areas to concentrate of if client for instance was very tense in shoulders, and eyes were tired - so shoulders and face in this instance?

Hi Deb
I personally think it is good idea to state a fee. I did this in my letters and then the companies knew exactly what they were getting. You can word it in a way that XXX is your fee per 15(or 30 mins) but can be negotiated on numbers of 15(say) or over, giving them the incentive to organise lots of people for you.
I can manage a pretty comprehensive massage in 15 minutes but if the client has a problem say in the shoulders, or sore eyes then I would do a bit more in that area - on the whole though, 15 mins gives the client a good all round treatment. Personally I haven't found many companies who would allow their staff to take 30 mins out of their day unless they particularly wanted to have one in their own time (ie lunch hour or after work) 15 is usually the most they can take.
Hope this helps and good luck!
Thanks for your help Sue, will put the price in.

Dear Deb379,
I am about to go down the corporate client route and was wondering how you got on since this thread was posted a few months ago.
I am also wondering what sort of price you could charge for a 15 minute IHM (did do a search on HP but didn't getprices back). We have quite a few business parks in the area and I know quite a few of the directors in the parks. I thought I would go for the direct approach and do taster sessions for them, I think once you have the directors on board it opens the doors - maybe even get the companies to contribute towards the costs because of the benefits to the staff. Sell the IHM as something I can do between 12 and 2 o clock as this is when most people take their lunch, this will thus not interfere with working hours too much.
Any help or suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks,
Jo
Sorry guys, right after I posted this I did find a a thread with all the info I needed.
Think I have a much better idea of charges now and also a lot of useful info. What would I do without HP!!!
