Question:
Since taking part in my Reiki one course I have found myself making changes in my life.
I don't know if any one else has experienced this but I have begun assessing all the negative influences in my life and dealing with them.
I have visited family I haven't seen for years, contacted old friends and as many of you know finally changed my job which was making me miserable.
Being at the begining of my Reiki 'journey' I am so pleased with the effect it can have and really appreciate the gift I have been given by my Reiki Master. Looking forward to starting my second degree in June.[sm=hug.gif]
Anyone else suddenly realised how much of an impact Reiki has had on them?
Some changes are very subtle - such as not being as quick to judge or lose your temper. Other changes can hit you right between the eyes - such as profound spiritual experiences. Everyone's experience is unique and cannot be compared but there is no doubt that, in my experience, Reiki can and does change your life. :) Enjoy your journey Aimsworth. :)
Dear ,
This Gogna I am very interested to learn that but don't know How ? Can you hhelp me in this connection.
I will very appreciate if you give me response by private message or e-mail

Hi Gogna,
Welcome to the forums.
Have you thought of going to the 'Newbies' section and introducing yourself to us all?
If you are interested in learning Reiki then there may be information that can help you on William Rand's website (he is in Michigan but has contacts all over the USA & the World. www.reiki.org
There is also the American Reiki Masters Assocoiation in Florida - I can't remember their website but a Search for ARMA should find them. They, too, have members all over the USA.
There are the self-styled Reiki Grand Masters in Idaho & San Diego but they are very expensive.
I wish you well in your search but please remember - don't try to rush it. Don'y worry and it will all happen when everthing is right for you (that is Timing, Finance and the 'right' Reiki Master for you.
Hi There,and Welcome
Yes as you say the journey of Reiki is quite incredible the changes that happen within us after an attunement the way we relate to others view ourselves and others, and the way we view everyday issues are changed, but most of all the sense of inner peace that it brings to you.I have been teaching Reiki for a few years now but still find it amazing after an attunement the reaction from students.i see Reiki not only as hands on healing but a journey of self healing which once started never ends.
Enjoy your journey Love Light, and Peace Ajnamoon
Hi Everyone,
Our computer has had a virus that stopped me getting onto the Reiki page for the last few weeks,[sm=angry-smiley-030.gif] its so good to be back!!
Over the year (nearly) since my 1st attunement I have lost nearly a stone in weight which I have put down to the Reiki. Some dropped off after the first attunement and then it stablised and this happened again after R2 in July, its just stablising again now so that was good!![sm=1syellow1.gif]
I have also started an evening course in counselling which is something I have always fancied doing, but it was only this year that I thought, Why have I been putting it off? I think Reiki gave me the push I needed to go for it.[sm=nature-smiley-008.gif]
Theres a lot more smileys here now too!!!
Hi, good thread - not sure why there aren't more answers... Reiki for me has totally changed my life... it's been about spiritual growth and development rather than giving healing to others, although that is part of it too. Every degree up in Reiki has been another level of growth for me and now that I am at 3rd Degree, I realise I have lots to learn... :)
I'm a completely different person than I was some 11 years ago when I first encountered Reiki. Reiki has supported me through all the changes...and continues to do so!
Blessings

I think it's helped me a lot with spiritual growth, gaining better self knowledge and self confidence, working on things such as having greater tolerance and not being so quick to judge (although there is plenty of room for improvement!), and there is no doubt that reiki is a great addition to reflexology and Indian Head Massage. The Reiki Weight Loss Plan has not really worked for me though :D
Reiki has led me in career directions that I have previously not thought of, and now I can truly say that I earn my living in a way that I approve of. A better way of life :)
well.... reiki has changed my life for the better. and to be honest its not until now that i have really thought about thinking how it has! so great thread.
well, i think reiki has helped in all areas of my life, it has given me confidence to do things i never thought i would do, and also confidnece of not to be scared of change. i look on life as fun and all the things that i have got to look forward to. im more laid back and very forgiveful (sometimes to much). im also much more open minded.
oh and one of the best things is that my cat loves me soooo much more. he is always coming to sit on my lap and my partner gets annoyed - hehe.
all this and i have only done reiki 1 - i have the urge to do reiki 2 which im going to do as soon as i can get hold of my reiki master!.
Hi Gogna
Her is an interesting site for you where you can find reputable reiki masters/teachers in your state
its the international association of Reiki Practitioners.
www.iarp.org
Just click on California and your area will come up.
Good luck Wesley.
Picking this thread up because it's an interesting question to ponder!!
I have found new friends both online and in real life within the Reiki community (including those on HP) - so much to learn!! [sm=grouphug.gif]
And it seems that it's taking my life in a new/old direction again
because I've booked on a Crystal Healing course at the same centre as I
did my Reiki at offers :)
I have so many crystals around and want to know how to use them
properly - Reiki has sparked off this interest again.[sm=1syellow1.gif]
Like LavenderRose I've found many new friends since Being attuned to Reiki 1 in fact I'm going to meet one of my forum friends tomorrow face to face for the first time.
My life is slowly changing for the better and I'm looking into changing my career completely, not sure what yet but will be different to what I'm doing now.
Love and hugs
Cis
Hello there,
I had my first taste of reiki at a health spa.
A friend and I were curios and I took the plunge and never looked back. It made me aware of ME, made me realise that where I was in my life and relationship wasnt right for me. It help me make the changes i needed to make.
Andtook me to where I am today . Very happy, content and feeling good. with great people around me.
Love Vicky
I like many others have had my life change completely since Reiki came into it 10 years ago. I think sometimes the changes are quite subtle so it is those around you that notice the changes first. People started telling me that I was 'different', more relaxed and positive in my outlook etc. It has been a wonderful spiritual journey for me that continues to this day. My greatest joy is sharing this wonderful energy with my students and seeing the change in them after their attunements. To be a part of another soul's spiritual progression is such an honour. I also love the way Reiki brings people into my life that become good friends. In factI have my ownfamily and my 'Reiki' family, both here and in Essex and in Spain, which is wonderful!
I look forward to continuing my journey and meeting yet more of my growing 'family'.
Love and light
