Question:
Hi everyone,
Yesterday I had a client with this condition who is in much better health now than a year ago, in that she can now walk, swim and drives. She has been recommended to have regular massages by her GP in order that nerves will be stimulated. She indicated that the nerves in her hands and feet sense very little and she suffers with pins and needles most of the time. She enjoyed a very firm body massage (nearly finished me off, I can tell you!!
Has anyone had any experience with treating this condition, my client is happy to try aromatherapy oils, and as a newbie:), I am happy to listen to any advice you may have to give.
not had any experience with massage with this syndrome.......would it be similar to oils that are great for ms i wonder ......have a client that really responds well to massage will have a looksy to check out the oils.Chamomile roman is a good one for my lady and ms and also rosemary workd really well oooohhh ive gone brain dead as to what else give me 2 mins and i will look up my notes !
I had a friend who had it - it came on very suddenly and then gradually went (over about 3 years). It was in the medical news lately - something to do with the flu vaccine. Sorry, don't know about oils, but wish your client luck from me - and patience. Sharon
