Question:
Hi
Does anyone use Hungarian Wellness Mud in their therapies? I read about it in last month's Today's Therapist and checked it out on the their website. It's quite expensive to use (ie around £225 for 9kg) plus a galvanised heater. But if it's a good seller, then maybe it's something worth taking on. I believe the benefits to the skin are lovely.
I'd be interested to know if anyone uses it or knows anything about it.
Many thanks
Love
Hi Sue haven't heard of it nor use it but have had a treatment once at Centre Parcs where I was slavered in the stuff and then wrapped up in cling film and a warm blanket and floated on a water bed.... mmmm......was bliss, yes.
Not sure exactly what you do and why you would want to use it but having had the treatment I can tell you this:
You need rubber sheets (calm down now!), protection for the floor and a shower. I was chucked into the shower afterwards to get the stuff off and even with water blasting on me it was a bugger to remove.
I shall make you smile now. The therapist was lovely and she said that I was one of very people not to treat her like dirt. She was used to people looking down on her etc. We got on really well and I was quite pleased when she said 'As I like you I am heating the mud up first, usually I just slap it on them freezing cold'!:D
Thanks for that Candie - glad she warmed it up for you:)
I'm actually thinking of using it in my facials as a mineral masque. This is the website if you are interested in knowing more.
www.stone-forest.co.uk and go to Physic Mineral.
thanks again for your reply
