I just have to let everyone know about my very first real experience as I am soooo excited!
Well I had my first real client last night - someone who really wanted Reiki and not to have it just for the sake of it!
I could really feel the energy flowing and when I reached the solar plexus area my hands lifted from her body and they started quivering - dont know why but it was interesting.
I was totally guided with the Reiki told where to go, what symbols to use when to use them.It really was great!
The funny thing was my client had her eyes open throughout the session - I have never experienced this before but it felt totally right and we both felt very comfortable about it when we talked about it at the end of the session so much so she booked another appointment.
Has anyone else had this experience?

And it's OK to for the client to have their eyes open. It's wonderful to give treatments, isn't it?

Yes it is brilliant giving treatments - I really love it - I wasnt too sure when I just had Reiki 1 but after Reiki 2 it just seems so much more powerful and "real" for both me and the person receiving.
I think the problem was that when I was practising Reiki 1 I was giving free treatments and I dont know if the people receiving valued it so much whereas now clients are coming for Reiki as a professional treatment and I am so glad I stuck with it
