Case studies
Question:

Hi there everyone. I am about to embrark on my 60hours case studies for my aromatherapy massage course. A couple of questions. How do you deal with something you come across and not sure which oils to use when you have a client with you. Also, with the first session do you choose oils accordingly to suit the problems they have and continue with these oils throughout the six sessions if they appear to be working or when would you change them.Does anybody also know(just getting my moneysworth of questions here)if there are any websites illustrating their choice of oils, any changes they made throughout the treatments with regards to their choice of oils.

Answers:

Hi and welcome.
Your first question, if you are not sure which oils to use? You use your books to help you and your class notes. Don't be afraid to do it, experienced aromatherapist do it all the time.:D
Your second question: The whole point with aromatherapy is that you can either use the same oils if you are treating a continuing problem or you can change them as you go along. This is the best way to find our for yourself what works and what doesn't. Even if you are treating them for the same problem you can still adapt the oils to see if they work more efficiently.
If something is working then fine, keep at it.
Regarding websites, no not known. Very, very little on the web or anywhere else like this. Use your books and note to help you and don't be frightened to experiment and don't be afraid!:D
