Theres a fantastic book called "Reiki and the 7 chakras" By Richard Ellis (ISBN: 0091882907)
Any questions you have just ask on the forum and we'll do our best to answer :D
Hi Rhea,
Try "The Reiki Sourcebook" by Bronwen and Frans Stein.
It gives a good report of the current state of Reiki and it's origins together with details of many of the types of Reiki that are being practised.
OR you could just find yourself a Reiki practitioner and have a treatment and then...................... you may decide to take lessons for yourself. Who knows?
Whatever way you choose to follow, enjoy it and take your time.
The best of luck.
:)Hi Rhea,
The book I read before doing Reiki myself was Reiki by Penelope Quest. It has now been reissued as 'Reiki for Life'. I got it from the library so you could go along to your local library and order it. I found it an excellent and easy to understand book, ideal for someone like yourself. I reread it many times!!!
I think if you try your library, and keep your eyes open, the right book and people will find their way to you at the right time for you.
Good luck on your Reiki Journey!:)
I am just in the middle of reading Reiki for Life, recommended above, and I would recommend it too. It explians what Reiki is all about really well.
