Crystals for plants?
Question:

Hi :)
i did a search before i asked, but i didn't find much information.
I was wondering if there are any crystals that are good to place with plants to help them heal -- i have a few sick plants that i have discovered it must be from using tap water that has too much chlorine in it.
I do not have many crystals yet, but i am wondering if there are any specific ones that might help? Would my amethyst or clear quartz do the trick?
thank you in advance, i've heard about crystals helping plants but haven't found anything on it yet. [sm=1kis.gif]

Hi Steph
Almost any crystal will be fine to help your plants along...certainly Amethyst or Quartz...
Amethyst being the healer of all healers and Quartz being a Master Crystal...go with your own feelings...after all they are your plants and you will know if the crystals energies are right or not, good luck...here's to happy healthy plants:)

Poor plants, just go with your instincts and choose what ever feels right to you. As Stormdeva says, "Your plants, therefore your energies", only you can choose and know what is right.

i wanted to update you all...
both the plants were given to me by a close friend.
i placed a quartz in the spider plant, and it is starting to look great, growing new leaves, finally!
the peace lily needed some extra love, and i felt that amethyst would help it for some reason (that pisces instinct?) and it is flourishing. I would love to see it flower, my friend said it never flowered for her and it would be wonderful if i could get it to flower for her ;)
I also have a amethyst cluster in front of the plant, and a rose quartz to the right of it, i just felt like putting them there?-- and it is next to the aquarium.
the spider plant is closer to the window in a corner with bamboo, cactus and an unidentified flowering plant my mother gave me.

Lover of plants, I have about 30 different types. I never thought about using crystals, this is all new to me. Where would u place the crystal?

Hi Liz
Anywhere you feel they need to go, I have one or two on top of the earth that the plant stands in, others can be put around pots etc; as Steph did...go with your insticts

like stormdeva said, put them where they feel right :)
i have them in a few places, such as burried in the soil, on top of the soil and surrounding the plant.
I also asked the crystals to help the plants before i placed them where i did, or where they placed themselves ;)

Sounds good to me Liz...let us know how your plants get on:D

hi all.. hope u don't mind...
I have been following this thread with interest.. and over the last few weeks have tried by placing crystals in top of my plants..
and am amazed by the increase of growth... I tried them both together in one plant.. but as soon as I separated them - I used a quartz crystal in one and the small rose quartz geode...in the other - .. whoosh.. off they grew:D
I found the rose quartz started by picking s small orange brown colouration, not quite sure what this is - any ideas storm hon.... but am really happy that my plants like the added crystal....
one was a small type bamboo plant( M&S brand) and the other ... can't remember what they call it..[&o] I call it a money tree - usually has to sit by front door - very water fleshed plant - so u can break off pieces and then just replant in soil..and it grows..... anyway.. seems to work for my plants...
cheers to all to sit and listen to me ramble.:D

Hi Crystal
Haven't a clue:D but, I must say that when I put Rose Quartz onto one of my plants the actual crystal started to get a orange/brownish discolouration to it in the form of little spots, but it soon settled down and the plant has since flourished

I will have to try putting crystals in my greenhouse,
I have wanted to place some about, but now I can't wait to see what happens!
As for your chlorine problem. Don't use your tap water right away. Place in in a container and let it set for at least 24 hrs (more if possible). Then once you have watered just refill it and set it away for next time. Doing this greatly reduces the chlorine in the water.
