Question:
I've been looking for a good cream to finish off a treatment. Problem is, I would like something natural & ideally with no parabens etc. Can anyone help?
Hello IMO
I was just reading about an organic baby range that boots have introduced. It sounds as though the products are friendlier than most and they aren't too expensive. I'll certainly be investigating them myself! Other than that you could check out health food stores and that organisation that sells stuff online and by mail order (help my mind has gone blank, they sell supplements and toiletries and all sorts). Neways!! That's the one. Wonder if they sell something to help people's memories... :D
i'll have a look at neways & boots, although boots botanics still include some 'nasties'. maybe the baby stuff will be better.
thanks.
Hi IMO
How about Aqueous Cream, not expensive, non greasy & has the advantage that if you wish you could add an Aromatherapy oil or two ... to it

Good point Stormdeva. A practical point on lotions or creams for using in reflexology - the creams in a jar are surely no good from a hygeine point of view? fingers touching feet, fingers dipping into jar, fingers touching other feet etc need I go on? Unless of course you finish the treatment, wash your hands, apply the cream? Still not very hygeinic and it breaks the contact with the client so a bit disruptive. So, do they sell aqueous cream in tubes? I have a couple of foot lotions in tubes which is great, but you are sometimes limited in your choice because you want it in a tube. Sorry for waffling but it's something I had on my mind.
Hi All
I tend to finish off with a liquid talcum powder in a bottle, it is very cooling and smoothing for the feet.
Love
Glynis
I always finish using some plain lotion blended with a couple of drops of essential oils suited to the client as I'm an aromatherapist also.
Siobhan, you can use a jar if you use a spatula (with no double dipping!)
Lesley
Thanks for that Lesley....
I was just about to say I was taught to use a spatula, as for Aqueous cream in a tube, I must admit I have never seen it
