Aloe Vera
Question:

I just wanted to add a little note on here to tell you all how fantastic Aloe Vera is!
When I went to Fueteventua earlier in the year... they sold it everywhere in every way (soap, gel, toothpaste, drink) so I bought just the normal gel and when I came back to the UK as a drink.
I burnt my fingers with boiling water (don't ask! but it involved some potatoes and a collinder!) You wouldn't believe how painful it was! They blistered straight away and I had my hand under the tap for ages... I hadn't had a burn that bad for ages. Then I remembered that Aloe Vera is suppose to be good for burns (I'd been using it on spots and insects bites) so although my skin still felt on fire and I had some lovely blisters coming up I smothered my hand in Aloe Vera gel....
No scar, no blisters and no pain! I couldn't believe it...they are as good as new! They cooled right down (but I would still suggest the cold water first) and I didn't even get a tiny hint that there had been blisters there!
As for the drink.... I take a table spoon twice a day and it really helps with any tummy troubles (I use to get IBS).
Just thought you might be interested!
Go out and get some:D

Hi
I get the odd spots (around my monthlys) in your thread you said that you used aloe vera on spots. Does it calm down the redness and dry them up them?
If so I would like to buy some.
Susan
