Question:
Just wondering what your views are on treating someone with epilepsy are.
I have one client who suffers blackouts and is under treatment with his Dr, who has given me permission to treat my client.
I personally would not treat a fitting epileptic due to the risks of them hurting themselves if they had a seasure whilst on the couch.

There should be quite a few posts on this here...but to answer you YES....
If you are worried about the client hurting themselves by falling off the couch then treat them on the floor, as therapists unless we only want to treat healthy people we have to learn to be flexible flexible flexible...

I agree with TigerBee but would also like to add that in my opinion you should also know what to do if this client does have a fit whilst being massaged by you, beit on the floor.
