Hi
I have tried some chocolate lines but not professional products. The body shop are doing a massive limited edition on chocolate, orange, spice etc. for christmas - even though they do smell lovely - for me they are that bit too sweet - I think its down to personal taste.

I have a sweet tooth so naturally would like the smells too lol I would be interested to hear about the chocolate range for professional use as I was wondering what that was like too as I have sent for a sample pack. Dopes anyone use this range for their salon?

not sure if they would supply just the chocolate body products, but gerrards do a chocolate range.

Hi Linzi
Have you got a web address for Gerrards? I have sent for some info from karin herzog who do chocolate products sound great but have no idea of cost etc for salons, that didnt come in the info pack could be very expensive as lots of stars like to have these facials done. I would have liked to try some samples too.

Hi
karin herzog are a fab product but i think they may be having a bit of a shake up. They are making redundancies at the moment i heard from another salon, so things don't look so good.
The chocolate facial is nice but a bit sickly specially if you are doing it all day every day. I personally feel its just a fad and the herzog products work well enough with out the chocolate.
The idea of the chocolate though is that it is the best anti-aging cream in the world!!! (Sounds fab, but i will still always use the oxy face cream which did wonders for my acne!).
Anyhow the only real differnce with a normal facial and a choc facial is you mix cocoa powder with exfoliaor, burn chocolate candles, and put heated chocoale on the face as you would a clay mask!!!

Real chocolate as a mask icandy? Surely that would be uncomfortable as it set?

Answers:

sorry, angelic, I completely forgot about this thread:eek:
sorry, I don't know gerrards details. But i'll have a flick though some of my mags to see if they have it in - if you still want it, lol

Answers:

Yes just mix it with a little water and make sure its high cocoa such as bournville! Then it won't set.

Hi all
I did get on the their website but not sure how i did it! but here's their email sales@gerardscosmetics.com. Ihave just bought their Chocotherapy full body and facial kit and am sooooo excited about it. I made the rep do a facial on me because if it was sickly i did not want it. but once she started to melt the chocolate and could smell it I was totally buzzing! As we all know chocolate helps lift our mood and it certainley did that. but not only that the enzyime exfoliant is the best exfoliation I have ever had. The chocolate is added to the massage oil and essential oils for massage then the mask is added to the remainder of the choc. I've never had a warm mask applied to my face befor and that alone was wounderfull. I can't see me doing many body treatment but i have 3 facials booked in the first week and thats before I advertise. watch this space.
