I was wondering if anyone could help me, I have noticed in the last year or so that I get a severe headache/eyeache [&:] at around the time of the full moon. I have tried doing Reiki but I actually find that it seems to make it worse and I end up having to take a tablet to get rid of it. I have recently started doing a crystal healing course but have not got that far on the course yet and was hoping someone could suggest a crystal (or two) that I could perhaps try using with Reiki instead of taking the tablets!!

The fact you've linked your headaches to the Full Moon could suggest that they are tied into to the hormonal cycle that controls menstruation and menopause.
The cycle of oestrogen and progesterone follows the phases of the moon and in times of old women would ovulate at the Full Moon and bleed just before the New Moon.
These cycles are no longer are in sync with the moon phases and could be one of the reasons why a lot of women suffer during these phases of life.
Joining a Goddess meditation circle or a belly dancing group may help to get in tune with the Feminine cycles.
Crystal/Gems/Metals for Lunar energies: Moonstone, Pearl, Silver.
Full Moon:
This phase marks the peak of power. All things are focused and concentrated. This is a time of strength, love and power. At this time the moon represents the Goddess in her Mother aspect, give praise to Cerridwen, Isis or one of the other Mother Goddesses. The Mother symbolizes feminine power, fertility, and nurturing.

You could try using Amethyst, this is good for relievig headaches, or also Magnesite this should be placed at the affected spot.
If your headache stems from a blocked an unopened third eye then Cherry opal could be used.
Smoky quartz is very good for headaches and could be good for you as it is a grounding stone. With this you can place it any where on your body, especially though on the base chakra, under a pillow or you could place it again on the affected area, if you are using a point, then place the point towards you for energising your body and the point away from your body to release negative energies.
Sugilite is a very good all round pain reliever, it has manganese as one of its properties which is very good for clearing headaches at all levels.
I hope all this info helps for you. As i know we have just hasd a full moon the new one isn't until the 21st of Jan and the next full moon after that is 6th February. Let us all know how you get on.
