Hi there
I have just booked myself on a Reiki 1 attunement in September. I feel really excited and also a little nervous. It's an interesting reason why i'm doing it. I was out shopping and a woman that was in the shop turned and asked if i was a healer, i said "No" and she replied, "well you should be because i have a gentle energy, but powerful" She went on to say more and also told me of past generations that were with me, which was amazing. I do Chakra meditation and have been on Channelling workshops which have been veryinteresting. I have wanting to move on spiritually, but been holding back - Fear i think.
So i just wanted to share with you guys, because i know you will understand.

How lovely - it must be wonderful to know that you have the power within you. I'm very interested in Reiki attunement, but I have no idea if it's right for me. Good luck with your Reiki 1 - I hope it is a lovely experience for you.

I have been wanting to take the step for a while, but didn't know want to do - so many healing therapies. I'm not sure it will be right for me, but i had to try something even if it helps my own healing process. So maybe it was a good old kick up the bottom and stop fearing and go for it!!

I love reiki, I used to work in a rehab and I hated the job but they brought in reiki healers and the seed stuck in my head and about a year later I was in Holland and Barrett and I saw an ad in a mag and it was the day of the anniversary of a death of a family member and I didnt want to be moping so I booked it and the funny thing was, I wasnt upset and I couldnt have squeezed tears out if I tried.
Did my reiki 2 in March and have my Masters booked for September, its very true when they say, you dont find reiki, it finds you.

I hope you enjoy your reikiI. The experience is different for everyone. I did mine last year and am hopefully going to be doing my reiki II soon.

I hope it goes well for you. My partner and I took our First Degree in Usui Reiki in May of this year.We are now booked in for our 2nd Degree in 2 weeks time. It is true that Reiki finds you, and you'll find the right Master for you. It's taken me 16 years to come this far.

Just wanted to wish you all the best on your reiki journey- i am sure u will love it. how special that someone 'picked' up on your energy & also that u have acted upon it- coz alot of people (myself included) sometimes dismiss things that are said to you- i have recently been told by 2 diff people to join a developing circle (spiritual) and i have kinda been putting it off-so well done for going with it- i should really look into progressing myself!! once i can drive i am sure i will find a circle local to me.
I am currently R2 but hoping to do my reiki masters in oct!! getting excited already! So will be lovely to hear all about your R1-
