Question:
Hi all...
I've just started my own business and would like to do healing with crystals. I am a reiki master and have done a course in Intuitive Crystals... do you think I can combine them both and call it crystal healing? I think I can but would like some other input.

PS: Also... how many crystals do you think I would need to start off with and which ones. I have an idea but again... I'd like some input :)

Think I've managed to get myself a little confused here, easily done ;)
You can certainly combine Reiki with Crystals it's an amazing energy, however, unless you are qualified as a Crystal Healer/Therapist I'm not sure you could call it crystal healing....after all, Crystal Healers do not usually combine Reiki with what they are doing...it's not the 'norm' but Reiki practicioners often use crystals within their healing.
So without me sounding really daft here, what is your actual intention?
I do use Reiki and Crystals together but then I am a RM and Crystal Therapist...
Use your intuition only you can really answer that one...which crystals and how many do you have in mind?

errr NO! Its not crystal healing at all, its Reiki Healing With Crystals! Crystal Healing is something totally different.
If you have to ask then really you shouldn't even be thinking about offering this kind of healing, but I kinda get the feeling you know that already and therefore you are asking or seeking a sort of approval?
If you want to do Crystal Healing then take a licensed course and become a crystal healer? Crystals are powerful things and the wrong crystal can cause discomfort to say the least.
If you want to do reiki healing with a few crystals then first make sure your insuarance covers the interference and 'add-on'or stick to having a few special pieces around the therapy room to enhance the atmosphere?
Sorry to be so brutal but someone that expects a 'Crystal Healing session' would be expecting something totally different to what you would seem to want to offer, and certainly NO reiki thrown in?
I have had Reiki, Crystal Healing and a combination of the two. To me it was three different things. I didn't enjoy the combination anywhere near as much as having them separate, and I did feel a little bit gutted going for a crystal healing then getting a load of Reiki without knowing before I booked.
I have to say that I agree with some of the other comments on here although I wouldn't put them so bruteley.
You ARE a Reiki Master and by now you should know how to tune in to your intuition but having said that sometimes it's nice to get a second opinion.
I would say that anything is possible. The only limitations we have are the ones we put on ourselves. As mortal beings though we have created boundaries and rules that we kinda need to adhere to which help to get things going and keep a good business running.
I must say I hear what you are trying to do with the name 'Crystal Healing' but I feel this could be miss leading although it's a nice play on words......that's just it though you need your business name to be 'crystal clear' with your intention of what it is you are offering. You are a Reiki Master and you have worked with Crystals so I can see you wish to combine the two in your name but I feel it just misses the mark somehow.
Have a play with words on google search and sometimes that can bring some variations on your choice of words. Also check with the website domain listings and some of the names you choose may have already been used anyway.
The experiences above are a personal one but take them onboard and adjust your method of healing to suit the individuals needs. What may not work for one may be just perfect for another.
Now that you have the freedom to be a Reiki Master, work with the energies and learn more about them and yourself to see what you are being advised to offer and how. Ask and it shall be given to you....but you have to ask first. Not just us mortals but the infinate too!
I work with Angels and they never fail to answer my questions and they give me quite quick answers too sometimes.
As a guide for you someone once said to me at an NFSH training meeting once when I took my crystals along just to be with me and also as I was wanting to practise and share them. The lady took me to one side and said "we dont use crytals here!" I asked her " by whose authority do you say this?" ......."well, head office ofcourse"......I said "My head office instructions come from a much higher source than that!" No more was said and needless to say I did not return there.......this is just one example of learning to find out what is right for you and what is right for you to offer and work with.
