I have my reiki 3 booked, just thought I would share it :D

3rd Sept. Oddly enough I will have done my reiki 1, 2 and 3 with different people for a number of reasons. Am doing it with Louise Prunty in Glasgow who I did a number of other therapies with.
Its Master Practitioner and Teacher combined. As people might know from some other postings, I dont do reiki full time and I dont know if I would ever be able to do much and keep my own job on but at some point in the future I would love to teach reiki, even if it is only part time.
Louise is a really good teacher and her prices are affordable, shes an example of someone who changed career totally and loves what she is doing and its really nice to see someone do so well.

I've read your other posts about what you do and I think it's great. I am working with people in similar situations in a drug and alcohol treatment centre.
My advice to you (not that you asked for it) would be to keep focused. If you would like to make some sort of living from Reiki, whether it is as a kind of side project or otherwise, keep focused on your goal. I am sure that when you are ready you will attract students.
Maybe some of the people you work with would like to learn Reiki, either your colleagues or the people you treat. It will open many doors for you I am sure.

Yes there have been a few people who have had a treatment from me who have been asking when they can be attuned and also some friends of mine.
Its funny also that a lot of people are spiritual but no one wants to be the one who says it.
For example, a year ago, well I wasnt sitting in my flat with 10 plus tarot and angel decks.
What led me there I dont know but I always had a feeling of something, probably when I did reiki and then other things and thought, its time to bite the bullet.
And when you start going on about angels and stuff, its amazing how many people go, angels ...... I love angels.
Just takes you to meet a few kindred spirits and away you go.

What amazes me really is the reactions about reiki from everyone, from 17 year old work colleagues to 17 year old young people in the project, bosses, staff, everyone.
Loads of people have come in and after the consultation I usually just say to people, you may feel heat or cold or nothing but you are still getting the reiki.
And everyone so far has come off the table going wow what was that! I treated someone recently who was really sceptical and when I had finished they said that they felt really strong heat in their body on a place where they had been recently ill and to me that is good, its not so much about converting people, its about letting people see for themselves what reiki is and does.

True, it is very eye opening, if only people are open minded enough to give it a go, they can benefit from it so much.
