Question:
I hope someone can help me please. I am undertaking a VTCT in Indian Head Massage and as part of my course I have a package on chakras and feelings and I was wondering if anyone could help me with these.
Identifying Feelings
List the physical (body) and mental (mind) states that accompany each of the following:
Anger, Frustration, Happiness, Sadness, Nervousness, Excitement, Ecstasy, Fulfillment, Pride and Joy.
I hope someone can help me with these.
Many thanks
Like i was advised not too long ago..go onto Google, and type in 'Working with Chakras'.
There are loads of sites, many go into a lot of detail on everything you're asking.
Hi there buty bate,
I have just finished a city and guilds course in IHM and i am now waiting for my results.
From what i understand about the chakras it seems to me that they are asking you about the problems a person will experience or feel when the chakras are out of balance.
I don't know what text book you are using, but the one by Francesca Gould is quite good and has a very good detailed section on chakras.
I think they are looking for items like the following:
Crown chakra - Concerned with Thinking & decision making.
Effects when out of balance - the person will be apathetic & thoughtless, will have no direction in life, and will have a fear of dying.
Brow chakra - concerned with inner vision
Effects when out of balance - the person will suffer from poor vision, nightmares, & forgetfulness. Blockage of this chakra can lead to headaches & nightmares.
Throat chakra - concerned with communication & expression
Effects when out of balance - person will be shy, a poor listener & talk too much.
Heart chakra - concerned with the capacity to empathise & sympathise with others.
Effects when out of balance - person will suffer depression & jealousy and will be cold or heartless.
Solar plexus - concerned with personality, feelings & emotional strength.
When out of balance the person will have a low self esteem and be gloomy, bad tempered, hyperactive & stubborn.
Hara - concerned with relationships.
when out of balance the person will suffer from sexual problems, lack of self love & mood swings.
Base/root chakra - concerned with connection to mother earth, health & survival.
When out of balance the person may feel fearful, disorganised and possessive.
I hope this helps in some small way.
Regards
Helen:)
