Question:
Hello HP people
I have had an email from a lady representing a company called Likisma who sell Aromatherapy products and wanted to discuss a business opportunity with me. I have had a look at their website and it seems to be a direct selling company (with a hint of pyramid selling coming through to my mind)
I have wondered if anybody has any experience of this company that they could share. They appear to be worldwide.

I did Likisma selling for a while, before I qualified as an aromatherapist. It's basically party planning and I found it very difficult to keep the momentum going.
I think their products are good, but the prices are retail, rather than wholesale (so no good selling to aromatherapists). Basically there is quite a lot of pressure to sell and keep the parties going. If you are the sort of person who has an endless supply of people who are happy to hold aromatherapy parties then fine, but I managed to earn enough to pay for my kit and then gave up as I'm not a salesperson by nature.

I think I had the same email as you! I don't really know anything about the Likisma products (ie. how good they are) but yes, it is direct selling, and no, not pyramid, as these schemes have been illegal for quite some time.
I amalso involved in direct sales and I have to say that there is nothing 'dodgy' about it (did I pick up your vibe right??).The only advice I would give would be to make sure you like the products as I think this is the most important point if you are thinking of promoting them.

yes, i used to sell for likisma, like lesley.[/align][/align]good products, not the cheapest though.[/align][/align]party plan selling... worked well for me for awhile... the product sells itself but its the booking further parties thats the toughie![/align]
