Question:
Hi there!
I've just completed my IHM course & have only treated family & friends. I've noticed recently when I hold my hands over certain chakras my hands start to 'burn',
they get really hot, taking about 10 mins to cool down.
If I'm stressed I often take 15 minutes to meditate (as best I can)& I always instinctively place my hand/s over the heart chakra & the same thing happens.
Can anyone explain, am I doing something wrong?

I presume you haven't been attuned to Reiki? Your experiences are very much Reiki feelings in which case maybe this question should be moved to the Reiki forum (?). Sometimes although people have not had their attunements, they are slightly connected already.

hey I get like that alot only mines more my handsfeel electricand get really hot if it happens I tie my hair up because I always imagine hair as flowing energy so if you tie it up I feel that I am tying my energy up I don't know if this is in any way helpful but don't worry your not the only one

No i haven't experienced Reiki, I studied a beauty course initially & took on aromatherapy, massage & Indian head as extras because I felt drawn to them. I haven't been practising very long & my tutor said I should be feeling vortexes over the chakra points?

Thanks, I thought I was imagining the sensations! My tutor looked at me blankly when I told her my hands burn & feel heavy :)
