Question:
Hello Everyone,
I’m new to this site.I was diagnosed with a brain tumour called an Acoustic Neuroma a while back. Fortunately (if you can call it that) the tumour isn’t cancerous and also it’s slow growing. At the time when it was diagnosed, I had just had my little girl, who is now nearly three. My consultant wants me to have it surgically removed. As it’s located in my hearing nerve, it means that with surgery I would completely loose my hearing in my right ear, also because the hearing nerve lies quite close to the facial nerve, it would affect the facial muscles.
At that time I decided that I wasn’t going to have surgery, as my daughter was still a baby. The consultant agreed that he would carry out regular MRI scans to monitor it.
Since then I’ve been doing a lot of alternatives such as homeopathy, acupuncture, diet changes, Reiki self treatments and Yoga. I did my Reiki 2 recently.
As far as my ear is concerned things are a little better in that I don’t get the pressure build up feeling and the headaches have almost gone, although my hearing is still very poor in that ear. What’s concerning me more is the right side of my face. It’s becoming more distorted i.e. the muscles are slower on this side.
Have any of you treated anyone with a tumour such as mine? What advice would you give? What else could I do with my Reiki?

First thing is, why don't you put up a healing thread and get other people to send Reiki to you. You'll find "Healing and Prayers" in the general Forum.
I have no experience of this.........I would take expert advice, and ask for a second opinion if you are not happy with the advice you have,
