Question:
Hello to everyone reading this, i have a question that i hope someone may be able to help me with. My sister had her baby last month, who is lovely and healthy. About 3 weeks after giving birth she had a prollapsed vagina, where the vaginal wall has basically collapsed. Apart from the emotional upset this has caused, she is not in pain but has discomfort and is unable to exert herself. She can have an operation to put it back in place, but is unable to do this until she stops breast feeding, and she was hoping to continue breast feeding for three months. In the meantime i would like to practice reiki on her, i am reiki one and two attuned. My question is, would this be an area to avoid before the operation as we would not want her to heal as it is? and if so can i practice reiki on her, leaving the sacral and root chakras alone, and concentrating on her other chakras? Although i say the baby is healthy, he has what his sacral osteopath has said, a small diaphragm and his central nervous system seems to be upset, could the two be connected? ( apolofies for any mispronounciations or spelling mistakes)
I would appreciate any guidance.
Thankyou
Hi. I think you mean a 'cranial osteopath' right?
Things don't 'heal' as they are. Therefore giving healing to something that isn't 'right' doesn't heal it in it's incorrect position.
Personally if I were to give healing in this instance I would not avoid the problem area because that is why you are giving the healing, so to avoid the root chakra and the sacral chakra would seem to be missing the point.
Everybody will tell me now that the healing energy does where it is needed!:D
Breast-feeding is the best thing that she can do as it helps to tighten everything up anyway. I can only say that she needs to get it sorted as soon as she can, these things don't go away, they just get worse and as she gets older it will become a problem and need to be seen to.
Just trust your instincts.
Hi Candie, yes i did mean cranial osteopath. Thank you for you're quick reponse. I will reiki her tomorrow. You are right, trust my instincts.
I also wouldn't avoid those areas as Candie says and I would be surprised if when scanning them, if you didn't pick up on the difference in energy.

Hi Kbj,
Welcome to the Forums.
I agree with Candie and Rosi1 and wouldn't avoid those areas.
You can do only good to your sister.
Hallo kjb
As I understand it Reiki can only help your clients regain 'their perfected form' as I understand it, so I don't feel you will be doing any harm if you work on your sister. The Reiki will also help her regain her full strength to cope with the operation
Take care
Gillian
I would appreciate any guidance.
Thankyou
