I tried to search the site for "frankinsence" and "boswellia" and I could not find any result. I am sure you heard about it already. I know about insence since many years, take it myself and held presentations about it as a member of a self-help group in front of doctors.
The gummy resin of the boswellia serata plant has been used as a natural anti-inflammatory for thousands of years. Modern science has verified what ancient Ayurvedic healers knew all along:
If you enter "boswellia" in medical search sites like you find dozens of clinical tests.
Boswellia blocks the formation of leukotrienes, immune cells that trigger inflammation and promote the formation of free radicals.
Alternative medicine use boswellia for other conditions related to inflammation, including psoriasis, allergies, morbus crohn and ulcerative colitis..
Several researchers recently foundthat it is also repairing malignantcells, I will try to enter some trials in the next post.

Boswellic acids from frankincense were indentified as the active compounds which inhibit leukotriene biosynthesis, 5-lipoxygenase and exert antiproliferative activity toward a variety of malignant cells. Because of the relevance for the clinical application, we tested the ethanolic extract of Boswellia serrata gum resin containing a defined amount of boswellic acids for its cytotoxic, cytostatic and apoptotic activity on five leukemia (HL-60, K 562, U937, MOLT-4, THP-1) and two brain tumor (LN-18, LN-229) cell lines by WST-1 assay and flow cytometry. The Boswellia serrata extract induced dose-dependent antiproliferative effects on all human malignant cells tested with GI50 values (extract concentration producing 50% cell growth inhibition) between 57.0 and 124.1 micrograms/ml. In three haematological cell lines (K562, U937, MOLT-4) the effect of total extract expressed in GI50 was 2.8-, 3.3- and 2.3-times more potent (p < 0.05) than pure 3-O-acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid (AKBA). Morphological changes after 24-27 hours and the detection of apoptotic cells by AnnexinV-binding and/or by the detection of propidium iodide-labelled DNA with flow cytometry, confirmed the apoptotic cell death. The results of this study suggest the effectiveness of Boswellia serrata extract with defined content of boswellic acids.

Operated and I refuses chemo and radio
lately in the end of 2003 I found boswellia when I already knew that I have to undergo a second operation
Prognosis: III -IV
Sensation in March 2004, the tumor was II
No after treatment proposed now
So I became a specialist on boswellia tablets, got to know the scientists, held speeches in front of doctors.
On the critical site of quackwatch, where they usally make fun about the different alternative treatments ( )you can find nothing negative about boswellia -
on the link from there to the Sloan Klettering Cancer Center you find what I said about boswellia.
in concurrence to steroids they write:
"Boswellic acid seems to be free of the adverse effects commonly found in steroids and non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs."
They also suggest that it is cytotoxic and explain the mechanism:
"Research on the cytotoxic effects of boswellic acid indicates that it induces p21 expression through a p53-independent pathway and causes apoptosis in glioma(7) (8) and leukemia cell lines(9). One study suggests that acetyl-boswellic acids can inhibit topoisomerases by competing with DNA for binding sites(6)." This effect is especially known on brain tumors.
I have for myself, and can also forward the most tested and only one by the doctors and oncologists recommended original "H 15".
That is very expensive like 50 Euros and more. But as I can get it directly from the producer, I pay for it incl. all taxes and DHL transport, 23 - 24 Euros. I think that is even cheaper than the product recommended by you, whereas the quality is assured. Following the scientists and doctors there are many products with false information, some even bad for health.
I also found the best powder in the moment, it is more that 4,5 times richer in the most effective part of the boswellian acids and also richer in the whole acetyl group. It is very professionally packed, outer side in Alu foil and inside second time in vakuum.
For getting out more AKBA it needs much more raw material, therefore you only have to intake a part you usually do.
I also got it tested by an Europ. Comm. lab., to be sure that there are no contamination or any harmful substances.
The price is 98- Euro for 500 gr, and if you take the normal amount it lasts for than one year.
In Germany the moste famous neurosurgeons (Prof. Vogel, Prof. Sami, Dr. Dresemann) recommend boswellia serrata.
Of course it is quite expensive, but I found a way to import the best one, used in the majority of the clinical tests, directly from the producer. As it needs bigger concentrarion for the cytotoxic action, I also looked a long time for a more on AKBA, the most effective substance, concentrated powder. Só I can reach higher concentration, while it is affordable.
Despite the studies I also gathered many individual reports on people who had remarkable success with it.
I there anyone who has direct experience with it?
