Insurance/Law
Question:

Hello to all and A Happy New Year. I have a question which I hope someone in this forum can answer. I know I probably should know this already but here goes anyway ........... am I required by law to have insurance to practice and teach Reiki?

Answers:

Hi,
I don't think there are any laws specifying that complementary therapists or Reiki teachers must have insurance... but it's wise to have these things anyway. The worst thing that can happen to someone having a Reiki treatment is that they fall off the treatment table or stub their toe on something!
For some providers, visit my web site and click on 'Resources'. Treatment insurance costs about £55 per year, and Teaching Insurance is about £115 I think. I use Smithson Mason (SMGplc)
Best wishes,

Thankyou Taggart for answering my question, I have to say that I did feel a bit silly asking it. I will check your site. Many thanks
