Question:
Hi everybody!
My Mum recently asked me what I wanted for a 40th Birthday present. Even though it's not until next January, she knows what I'm like about these things and so has given melots of time to think about it!!!
I am thinking that I would love to do a hot stone therapy course and am interested to know if anyone here has done a course recently, what was covered, how long it was, who with and what you thought about it? I'd rather go on personal recommendation rather than just pick out a course at random from all the adverts! Mum has said that she will buy all the equipment needed too!
I live in South Leicestershire just on the Northamptonshire border. I have done ITEC massage including A&P, just completing the worse VTCT IHM course in history
and have done courses on Hopi Ear Candles and Tibetan Acupressure Head Massage. I am happy to travel a reasonable distance for this course as long as it's recognised by my insurance company.
:D Thanks for your help.....

Hi,
If you're interested in doing a distance learning course, the BSY group offer a course in Hot Stone Therapy. I'm thinking of doing the course with them as I've been unable to find a course nearby. Have a look at their website:
Sorry to hear your VTCT IHM course was so bad but, believe me, it couldn't have been as bad as mine was!!
Good luck!

In reply to Enchantedmoonbeam: I see you are in Cleveland, so maybe you can access Rochdale? The Sandra Day School do this course. I haven't done this course myself but know someone in Stockport who has who is now getting satisfied clients. She did the one day course; SD's also do the ITEC one.
