Aromatherapy - massage or treatment?
Question:

Is aromatherapy for you a massage or a herbal remedy? Is it both, and if so, is it always both?

Answers:

Mostly with my clients, it starts off as aromatherapy massage, but I do encourage them, if I think it will help them, to use a blend at home for various ailments.
And as I can't massage myself, I use my oils on a daily basis, either in the bath, or again for localised problems, such as back ache or skin problems. So yes, it is both, I guess.

It's great that you live the aromatherapy, Lesley! How about others, do you practice what you preach? If so, do you use your oils regularly or every now and then?

Answers:

I use my oils most days, and for most things. I have pre-mixed blends around the house, and blend before I go on holiday (room freshener to put in a spray bottle, and a cure-all-ills blend I use on my kids, and they request). For other people, it's massage, and then post-massage treatments usually, but if someone has a specific complaint, maybe just treatment (I'm supplying quite a lot of chickenpox lotion at the minute). I don't think you can really know an oil, unless you have used it yourself, and in lots of circumstances.

I use my oils on clients for treatments - on myself and my family around the house for household cleanliness - at this time of year on any insect bites - in the bath and to help me sleep. I self massage when I get a moment too - the oils are also added to my skin lotions, foot creams. I love them - they never fail to deliver.
