Collect Questions

I was just wondering who has a favourit stone or pebble they work with.
Dose it has any unual marking or funny shape?
How did you find it.......beach field road, etc.......

Sorry forgot to mention i work with two sone one's a dusty red shaped like a heart...found on beach in Cornwall.
And one that's light tan and has a writing form on it. sort of peanut shape.....nearest i can discribe it, found beach in Devon

Hi Lightwinds, wonderful question. Yesterday I was walking along the beach and found a huge piece of Jet crystal, it is just magnificent. The appearance of the crystal is glassy black. I can caress it in the palms of my hands. It is very light, despite it's size. I just love stones, pebbles, shells and crystals - to me they are like heart gifts from the earth. This latest find felt like getting a beautiful present from Mother Earth - and the wonderful thing is, it speaks to me!!



Isn't it great crystal dreamer, I love working with stones and pebbles, I have quite a few and they also speak to me and share their names with me and also what they are helping me with.
One is helping me with anger, called Suri, another long shaped one I have is helping me with the feminine principle and she's called Peppa. I even use them to make essences, like you say, what wonderful gifts from Mother Earth.

Hello Crystal..rosi1, having respect for native people i like to call my stone's Talking people of Mother Earth.........
I spent alot of my younger days walking the beaches and exploreing the caves and many times would sit looking at shells and i found looking at some was like looking into little caves and story would start to appear. But i had forgotton some of what i saw now.
But i like to sit with shells and begin a journey with them on there great adventures of the ocean.(maybe i could write a little book:)).
Also many diffrent pebbles........with unual marking on.........i used to place what i collected into a little hidding place along the beach........never could remember were i put them. Thay say as you put a shell to your ear you can hear the ocean...........so true as you lisen, she begines to talk.
One shell i have look like a native american.on the outside....with a beautiful headress on.... very old and wise... inside i see how he lived in his time....and so he share his story. Also stones can be ment to be given to someone else and passed on to them as a gift..........so the stone etc... can enlighten them with it's storys.
Another shell i have is shape as a flat fish and his story from within is about the stars.
This is just my own experiences with Taking people of Mother Earth
The stone, shell, etc..........will choose you when it want to share a story.

Lightwinds, working with the stone people is truly fascinating. The stone people have been here for the longest time, and therefore they carry a complete record of everything that has gone before. They are the record keepers and have much knowledge and wisdome to share with us.
Here's hoping for some more stories!

I too love working with Stone People.
I am the carer of some special stones that I feel 'found me', they are all special to me, but strangely enough the ones I 'care' for are a dull beige colour all but on the 'face' where they are all sparkly.
I feel they help me carry out my healing.
I love anything to do with Mother Earth and her sharing herself with us.

I have a great many crystals & my children will pick up stones ^ bring them home Each one has two or three favourite stones they keep in their bedroom.....;) I used to pick up stones & pebbles & stil do occassionally But more recently i have been drawn to sticks,leaves & seeds.. like acorns , Fir cones , ect I love conkers & always have, I have a bowl full of various sticks leaves & seeds in varying stages of their lives.When I asked Spirit why i was collecting these items some very new & baby like others nearly dead I was told it represents death & re-birth. Hmm maybe that's why i love Spring & Autumn so much.;) I'm also drawn to shells but like my crystals they have to be natural & not dyed bright flourescent colours[:'(]
