Hi Paul.
I qualified in June 02 and have just got a client base myself. I am mobile myself and find that clients like the fact that I will visit them so that they can truly enjoy the benefits after I've gone and they haven't got to get in a car and drive home. I started out by handing my leaflets to friends and sending them to family. I have now been advised to place them in library's, local shops etc...
What kind of volunteer work are you doing? if you don't mind me asking.
After all is said and done only time will allow you to build a client base and word of mouth is the best form of advertising!
many thanks for you reply,,,,,,,so in reply to you i volunteer for h.i.v charity once a week...its very rewarding and great experience...... thanks again
all the best

Hi Paul,
Like you , I have recently started my own practise in London - not as easy as I thought.
Just keep try anything that comes in to your head.
One thing that I do is carry lots of busness cards and when I meet friends or aquentices (not sure its spelt right?) give cards out.
its a hard slog, but keep at iyt.
ALso, if you are giving a free massage, I grab one and give you one in return.
Cheers
Jason

Hi Paul,
Good for you!
You may find that the family of the HIV sufferers will welcome a relaxing massage. I say this because late last year I was given a chance to work with the elderly and the family of these elderly people, the ones that do the caretaking, needed time to relax. Many have their own families to take care of and didn't get much time to themselves. We offered them treatments in their homes. It's just a thought.
Wish you every success.
Happy New Year
Andrea
