Question:
Hi I have some of the past topics with interest about helping with infertility (or subfertility as someone called it). Anyway, I had a client today who is trying to conceive and has been doing for 15 months. It doesn't help that her husband is away with work a lot.
I used lots of the advice already given on the forum about reflexes to use. However, I wondered if anybody could give advice on diet as the client asked me about this. Is there anything specific that she should be thinking about??
Also she had a circular patch of dry skin (on top of a small lump)on each foot on the fallopean reflex. Can anybody give me an insight into this. Is there any meaning to it? Many thanks.
Hi Bexx,
I would highly recommend Marilyn Glenville's book, 'Natural Solutions to Infertility' for advice on diet and nutrition - there is a whole host of information in this book. I work with alot of 'subfertile' ladies who have changed their diet accordingly and have had regular reflexology - it usually works!

Hello there Bex
As Juliet says there are some great books around on pre conception care including factors such as nutrition. Another wonderful author is Zita West, who runs clinics in London. She is very emphatic about women learning to read their cervical secretion to pinpoint their most fertile times, and with your client I would say this is very important as she has limited opportunities for trying with her husband away. Few people have a regular cycle and ovulate on day 14, so it is worth working out her fertile times if she hasn't already done so. A friend of mine recently became pregnant at what she thought was completely the wrong time in her cycle, so you never know....
This is something that I would be very interested in learning more about, as I have fertility problems and it would be good to know, I have heard of refelxologists that specialise in this area, but she was completely at the other end of the country to me.
