Forgive me for asking a silly question, but is it ok to give reiki to a pregnant lady?
Also what kind of screening forms to do you just for a reiki treatment? Obviously with massage I go through a detailed screening, but do I need to be so in depth with reiki, i.e are there any contraindications?
Can't get hold of my reiki master as on holiday, but I thought I know who will know!!!

There are no contraindication in energy healing, a contraindication states that what you are doing is likely to cause harm to the recipient by doing certain things.[/align][/align]Energy healing is applicable in all instances as long as the healee is wanting to receive it, with pregnancy you have to beings to deal with in stead of one.[/align][/align]I still run through a consultation on the first visit and get them to sign a informed consent form before doing anything.[/align]
I always go through a consultation whether the person is pregnant or not. I also agree with Paul on this one, there are no contraindications with regard to pregnancy.
