Question:
Hi everyone,
Somerset Angel and I have been to Harpenden this weekend to attend a workshop on Healing in the NHS with Angela Buxton-King and her husband Graham and on the way home wondered if anyone from HP had aslo been there!
It has been an absolutely wonderful time with 23 other like-minded therapists ( including Reiki AND NFSH healers with no feeling of 'them and us'). This was the very first course that they have run together and the information and personal interaction made it very special and felt an honour to be there.
The work that they are doing as recognised healers on the wards at University College Hospital is amazing and very inspirational to those who would want to follow in their footsteps.
So, if any HP members were there, hi! lol.

Back in sunny somerset now! LOL just to back up everything Reiki Angel said what a great and informative weekend.
Oooh, I'm doing that course on 17/18th June, so I'm really glad that you guys enjoyed it. :D Can I ask where you stayed Reikiangel & Somerset Angel...just so I have an idea.
Any other HP'ers doing that one???

You will enjoy it was great. We stayed at the milton Hotel it was very good and the lady who runs it is a healer!!!

Did my course & you were right - it was absolutely fantastic!!! Angie & Graham are truly wonderful people and are doing fantastic work and truly are integrated into the NHS team....oh for the day when more hospitals have an integrated complementary therapy team....

Maybe some of those people being very negative about Reiki and the NHS will believe the three of us who have attended Angie;s course

Hi All,
Have just listened to the interview with Angela Buxton-King on the Reiki podcast. Really interesting !!
I love the simplicity of her approach and laughed when I heard her talking about how they filter those applying for jobs etc. Getting rid of the ones up who live in La La land ! and only interviewing those who have a simple straightforward view of healing and Reiki xx No Dolphin Reiki for Angela LOL:D
