Apple Cider Vinegar
Question:

Hi All
Can you tell me.... is Apple Cider Vinegar good for you? I read somewhere that it was good for weight loss and eczema and spots etc and then when i did a search on the internet I read an article saying that it was an absolut load of rubbish and in fact it had no real healing properties. So now I am asking if anyone can speak from experience, as i would love to know.
I live in SA and have seen a bottle in the supermarket - 100% Apple Cider Vinegar - its not cloudy in colour - is this one any good? We are slightly lacking in decent organic products like this where i live [:@]
Thanks any feedback is very appreciated.

Hi
Yes it is.
It has been used for hundreds of years for a variety of purposes. It is always clear, even the organici ones. The 100% lets you know it is all apple vinegar, not some other cheap one.
As for eczema, never heard of that one. Weight loss is may well help with, I know it is highly recommended for arthritis. With a lot of nutritional remedies you have to play with them and see how they affect YOUR metabolism and tailor the useage/dosage to that. It is this need to tailor these things that drives the drug companies into finding and isolation active ingredients to produce drugs, for the more passive people out thesre who want something to fix them ... oops!! is that an opinion ... must be,
Throw are fe capfuls of cider vinegar into you and see what happens!! Mix with honey is much better. OR have lots of salads with oil/vinegar dressings (daily) and you will see a huge difference in a matter of month.
You are in sunny SA after all, wanna swap with grey cloudy Ireland?? Ya'll need the Cider Vinegar for the artrithis in the damp of this place!!

Sorry for the delay in replying - i have problems logging in sometimes.
Thanks for the advice J.mmmm, i have tried it with honey and its not bad at all. I have been trying to remember to have it each day - not sure if its working just yet. Have been having a tablespoon each morning. I hope that is a good amount
I would rather be in Ireland at the moment - so then at least i could pop over to London for a quick shopping trip!!! Its pretty cold here too and damp - best keep taking the cider vinegar...:D

I too read about the properties of Apple Cider Vinegar and was tempted to try it because a) I have arthritis and b) I need to lose weight. I had 2 teaspoons a day in a little water with a teaspoon of honey for 1 month but have to say I didn't notice any benefit with either the arthritis or weight loss. Hope it works for you.
