Question:
Can anyone advise me please if it is ok to treat a lady on medication for Angina with Reflexology? There appears to be conflicting reports in my books and coursework on this subject.
Thanks guys.
Hi,
Is your lady on Beta blockers? GTN spray?
I have a client with Angina on both of these ( amoung other medications) and I have been treating her over a long period of time on and off, All has been well throughout. I think in these cases theres always conflicting information, I guess you just have to trust your own judgement, if you feel comfortable to treat her.
I know my client has been better as a result of having Reflexology and Reiki.:)
love,light & always healing,

Hi bjay,
I am not a practitioner, but I have had Angina.
It is like any other muscle pain caused by insufficient oxygen/arterial blood supply, to supply the energy for its work load. The usual Nitro Glycerin spray releaves the pain by dilating the arteries serving the damaged part of the heart.
I would find it difficult to see how Reflexology could harm.
I have had one session of reflexology and many sessions of aromatherapy and deep Reiki, and found them highly relaxing, rather than taxing.
Leo
Thank you very much for your reply Lisa & Leo
I shall be happy to treat my lady now, and with confidence!
Merry Christmas everyone!
Thanks guys.
