Hair removing creams - advice!
Question:

I have a client who has MS, and is bed ridden. She used to have her chin and top lip waxed, as she has quite a strong growth in these areas. She was advised by her doctor some years ago not to have any more waxing treatments, so I have been removing the hair with cream.
The problem is that the hair is extremely coarse and strong, and her skin is very sensitive. I have tired various creams, which work ok for a short while, and then dont seem to work well, i.e, only removes some of the hair, and I end up cutting some. It is almost as if the hair gets used to the cream!
I need some advice. Does anyone use a cream for hair removal that they can recommend. I feel for this lady as she has alot to put up with with her MS. I really want to help her.
Please help!!!!
Thanks in anticipation!

hi tj [sm=wave.gif]
a couple of suggestions i have is something made by silkymitt. its what i would describe as " sandpaper" for rubbing unwanted hair away and its design is similiar to a big emery board and it comes with replacement strips which you stick on. i bought mine from savers for a few pounds.
another is something i currently use, its called nair brush on facial hair remover and on the bottle's instructions it recommends that for coarse hair, to wet the hair with warm water first, dry then apply the cream.

This poor lady - she's so lucky to have you help her.
Johnson's do a moisturizing product that minimises hair growth - perhaps you could look into that.
