Question:

I wanted to see whether or not acupuncturists on this forum think it might help me with repeated problems on my right side.
Over-riding everything I have a weak right shoulder due to injury 4 years ago. This in turn causes other weaknesses in the right side of the neck, arm and serratus posterior inferior. Also on the right side (since the injury) I have noticed some irritation in my right eye. This has been investigated and is just put down to allergies( which only started after the injury). I also occassionally get mild cluster headaches (again started after the injury) which start in the right eye and affect the right side of my face. All this sounds pretty bad, but it is mainly irritating, nothing serious. But.....
I'm now beginning to wonder if this is something to do with nerve or vascular impingement. Something is definitely connecting everything, just wondered if you guys think acupuncture will be beneficial.
I'd really appreciate your thoughts.

Hi AngelFish
Potentially acupuncture would work a treat!
Have you already had it looked at by an osteopath? If not I'd recommend it as a first port of call, and then possibly follow up with acupuncture for maintenance/balance.

Thanks for your thoughts Aragorn, osteopathy is about the one thing I haven't tried. We all know how expensive treatments can be and I basically got sick of paying people with no improvement. I've now strained my serratus posterior again, which is where the original injury was, so maybe I'll give osteopathy a go.
What a pain
