Question:
One of my clients has an ear virus called pseudomonas which produces a foul smelling weeping from her ear. She has had two Hopi Ear candling treatments from me, with the use of antibiotics in between. Has anyone else had experience with ear viruses and ear candles helping or do you think it will just help to clear out the ear? I should maybe note that she is ten years old.
Pseudomonas is not a virus, but a specific bacterial infection, which really only responds to antibiotics.
Personally, I wouldn't give ear candling to anyone who has anything oozing from the ear canal. Wait until the antibiotics have done their job and then treat.
