Question:
hi there - am currently doing a case study who has very significant small nodules (about 3 on each foot) over her intestine area which are extremely tender. She holds a lot of stress and has problems with digestion etc....but nodules! I've felt tension, solid congestion etc but never small hard lumps. It's worrying.... any thoughts????

I had a case study with the same problem. Hers were initially similar to yours but actually got a lot worse. She had a line of them stretching from the kidney point of the left foot in an arc down to the zone 4/5 just above the pelvis line. She also had them on the arm reflex on the left foot and also around the kidney and adrenal reflexes of the right foot. They eventually peel to leave extremely itchy broken skin and can re-occcur in the same points again.
My client was also extremely stressed, going through turbulent changes in her home life and very disaffected at work. It was difficult to get a clear analysis from my tutors but it would be interesting to know if your client is moving through her stress issues or is she stuck in her situation. The problem arose during my course of treatments which were ongoing for some time have now disappeared again as my client has succeeded in finding outlets for her frustration. I feel that these nodules or spots are the body working through huge stresses and frustrations and that in my clients case anyway were an end case scenario as she moved on. It could also be that she finally started to listen to herself and mind herself a bit better when she saw how dramatically her body was calling to her.
I think that it was significant that the areas affected were her kidney areas and the possible links to the chinese energy centre there; "the bubbling spring"; and the arm area and its possible associations of holding on tight to something.
Luckily for my client and her horrendously itchy feet the problem has resolved itself but I am extremely interested to hear any other explanations as I still don't really understand what was happening.
