Nervous system treatment - IHM or Reiki?
Question:

Hello
I seem to be getting clients lately with problems I haven't dealt with before!
I have been asked to give an IHM to someone who has nerve damage from a car accident. As a result he often has pins and needles in his legs and arms. His doctor said the damage will eventually heal, and the feelings in his arms have already lessened. I think he wants IHM because it helps with circulation and because he has tense shoulders and sore neck. I personally feel that he would benefit more from Reiki because it would treat him all over and help speed up the healing, however, I can also see that IHM may help with the circulation, but only in certain areas as it is not a full body treatment.
Please can anyone of you wise people out there advise or have you come across something similar? Thankyou.

Answers:

Why don't you ask him if you can combine reiki with his IHM? Reiki goes to where it is needed, so I am sure that even if you just did his upper chakras it would be beneficial for him.

Hi Florence
If this is a fairly new injury and there are any solicitors/suing/insurance claimsinvolved I would personally not treat with IHM. Some people unfortunately are very quick to blame and if symptoms appear to be worse after a treatment you too may find yourself caught up in the crossfire.
I hope that I am wrong but Ilike to err on the side of caution.
Emma
