Question:
Hi guys
Is it possible to have too many therapies at your hands? Seriously, I know that it is up to each and everyone of us to decide for ourselves what is right for us and so on...but, as you guys know I have Reiki, & Gaia-Now both fantastic energies in their own right
...but now I am thinking about Chois Energy
...been 'twoing' and 'frowing' from the Chois sight for some months now...but tonight through HP have found that there are some attunement levels becoming available in my area as from next year, so what I would like to know...if anyone can help...is
...what is the difference between Reiki energies and Chois energies...and if you already have one
...what kind of difference is it going to make to the therapist to get the other

The Chios energy field healing attunements, give you additional tools to put in your energy channelling toolkit and this in my opinion is a very good tool to have.
The system has been conceived and put together as a working therapy, so from the word go with it you are learning to heal and this is a very nice practical energy to work with, the instructions you receive are second to none, there are no contraindications and it works.
This is not a Reiki modulation and works more like the Gaia-Now energy when channelling it as you have to get into the driving seat and direct the energy, it is up to you to find any problems in the energy field and chakras and repair, balance and energise them, the instruction manuals and workbooks are a little lengthy but well worth the effort to read and digest the information.
I have not personally had any problems whilst channelling the Chios energy system :-)
Chios gives you good manuals and understanding of energy work form a different perspective, as paul has said it puts you in the driving seat
it is a very much active method of healing rather than passive
like Paul C I have done MAster teacher level in Chios and the energy is NOT Reiki but works well all the same

thank you all for your help...
...I did know that Chios energy is not Reiki I just wondered what the differences where in the energies & using them
...well, I've now had a look at not only the orginal Chois site but also Paul's and Dez's sites...and it does mention that if you are an experienced healer then the attunements can be done via distance (and obviously the cost is less), so all I need to do now is decide whether, I would benefit from going to a 'hands on' course or whether I would be able to acheive what I would like to acheive by 'distant' attunement....Mmmm, more 'food' for thought!

Can I suggest you download and print the manuals and the related workbooks off the Chios site, then after reading through them you should have a good idea as to whether you think you can manage to follow them on your own, it is in my opinion pretty straight forward and just needs a little time and practice to master the techniques involved.
If you elect to do distant then you will still get help via emails etc. so you are never completely on your own but you do need to do the work and fill in the paperwork at each level to complete the course :-)
