Question:
Can anyone recommend a good make up course that covers bridal and special occasion?
My college is only covering how to apply and basic techniques. Im going to need another one which covers more indepth.

I don't know what course it is you are doing but when I did NVQ in Makeup, we had some very good sessions on how to do bridal makeup and special occasions. It could all depend on how your tutor plans the classes but if you are not happy, maybe ask for a bit more tuition on it.

Someone recommended Jean D'arcel in Worthing. Has anyone trained with them?

My friend got married in 2004 and Bridal Hair and Beauty from Rochester in Kent, failed to show up to style her hair on her wedding day. She had a complete nightmare. After the wedding she took them to court and won the case under breach of contract. The owner of the company was unrepentant and never expressed her apologies.
I would advise anyone to avoid training with these people as they are not a professional outfit.
