Hiya Starlet,
My case studies were for a ITEC diploma so not sure if the format I used will apply to your course but here's what we did ......
Front Page ~ Consultation sheet ~ I presume your tutors have give you some guidance on this .... if not I'm sure there are some for you to look at on the student forum here.
For each treatment ~ A paragraph for each....
a. starting with how client presents .... posture ~ open/closed friendly/withdrawn? etc
b. Brief description of clients history and then presenting symptoms....
c. Any contra ~indications local etc. How feet are presented? Relaxed/tired/tense ? temp ? colour? any local contra indications ? skin condition ? Recommendations for treatment i.e ~ "full reflexology treatment recommended using talc paying particular attention tohead/brainand adrenal reflex areas in order to help with stress and anxiety"
d. Treatment...... For each reflex you find .... i.e
" granular reflex found in head/brain ~ reflex work with lots of extra thumb walking and some localised pointing ~ reflex lessened in depth~ no tenderness".
e. summary of treatment ... client reactions ~ sleepy chatty etc / areas you feel may need extra work.
f. recomendations ~ importance of drinking water / things to avoid/etc possible post treatment side affects explained.
at the top of the next treatment ~ client reactions since last treatment i.e client reports experiencing more frequent bowel movements/client reports enjoying deeper more restful sleep.
do this for each treatment ~ we had 10 clients ~ 4 treatments eack plus charts and a summary of treatments to complete, so it's a lot of work but the very best way to learn.
Good luck & hope this helps

Hi Starlet and Sandra,
MeridianMoon has given some great advice there, and i don't really have much to add, but i would like to give you a little tip........make sure you write up your treatment notes as soon as your client has left, that way the information is still fresh in your mind, and you can add more to the case study, rather than trying to remember the information at a later date.
Hope this helps.
Good luck with your case studies, and just PM me if you need any help.
