[/align]i bought these crystals in the canarias but have no idea what they are or what they do can anyone help please as I would love to be able to use them [/align][/align]sodalita [/align]cuarzo( one curazo is pink the other is green)[/align]amatista[/align]olivino[/align]amazonita[/align]jacinto[/align]pirita[/align]crisoprasa[/align]aguamarina[/align]calcita[/align]halita [/align]crisoprasa[/align]....sighs...they are all in pre polished state and rough.:D[/align][/align]thanks all apreciated[/align]



Go to and paste in the stones names that you need translating, scroll down to the bottom of the list of languages and select 'Spanish to English' It does translate most of them, I tried it, sorry I could not copy and paste results.

crisoprasa is going to be chrysoprase in English, if that's not obvious.
(Many mineral names are similar enough to the English in Romance and Germanic languages that you can guess at them if you know some English names).

Oh and try saying them out loud - I didn't get "cuarzo" until I used Babelfish and then laughed as I said it out loud...should have been obvious :-)



sodalita cuarzo - quartz sodalite
amatista - amethyst
amazonita - amazonite
pirita - pyrite
crisoprasa - chrysoprase
calcita - calcite

thank u managed to use babelfish and it really helped me to find out what the crystals were i realsied the obvious ones but cuarzo and jacinto...tooka while to translate it come sup as quartz and the other hyacinth cinnamon....stone...no idea what it does as yet..so off to search again.[/align][/align][/align]thanks all[/align][/align][/align]

I was able tp type in the names even in spanish and be directed to the correct crystal in english.
